In the Liminal on Earth: Art from the Unconscious
How are artists responding to our climate crisis? How does the collective unconscious play a role in providing images or symbols appropriate to “the spirit of the time?” I come from a deep desire to express our current situation on Earth in photographs without dipping into ecocide, disastrous weather scenes, or suffering. I will share my series In the Liminal and discuss its origins and unfolding. The images express deep time, human beginnings, and the current liminal state that we are experiencing.
